Subject: Emotional Blackbird

I was at this show and was there both nights. We were dosed and came upon the bus.. THE BUS and tried to talk to Ken Kesey who was sitting at the back. I was more interested in the emblem at the front of the bus that had a guy with his eyeballs had been drilled out. It seemed like Taj Mahal got mad at the audience the first night. Everyone was really high. Anyway when Bobby played Blackbird, I will never forget it because my sadness over Jerry Dying was like a big aching wound in my body at that point. We had rolled up to Laytonville from San Francisco where I was living at the time with some friends. It was a trippy scene no doubt with Wavy Gravy and co.. but it wasn't like really that great because the Pranksters or whatever was left of them kept to themselves and we common people were kept far away from them. It was really sad though....

Subject: YoYo RATDOG!

My girlfriend leslie and I had just drove out from vermont. Its nice to relive this show. She found a pass, so we where everywhere. What a freakin cool place. Excellent show! We where in San Fran at the park, friend lost dog,called everywhere, almost didnt make it there. Great download!!!

i was at this show. emotional, but not too great really. i was hoping henry kaiser would really jam with them, but he never did other than a few notes on knockin'. this was a great pig-nic tho. tim leary was there with kesey and the furthur bus.

Subject: Early Ratdog

A nice recording from the early days of Ratdog, back when Bobby was the only guitarist in the band, before Mark Karan came along. Sounds nice, thanks for uploading this!!

Subject: undercirculated ratdog revue show!

I figured people would want to hear this. the 'dog played at the warfield the first night of the pig-nic, then headlined the second day after second sight. I will say 4 stars cause some music is missing due to the cassette master flips.
